On recommendation of a few not so reliable friends I watched 'Khosla ka Ghosla'.....And now I am speechless....I am not sure was it the popcorn I enjoyed more or the good cooling effect of the AC in the hall...It was definitely NOT the MOVIE...
I wonder what the writer was thinking while writing the movie...He definitely didn't have me in his mind as a suitable audience.
The director made an awesome khichdi of every emotion exhibited by a middle class man....And at some places he over did what he intended to do...so I feel.
No doubt the actors acted well...three cheers to them definitely.....but the movie was made for the sake of making, I don't think they made it for attracting audience
The plot was different -
A middle class man finally bags a good plat in a good locality, an yr before his retirement. He wants to see his children live his dream of building a Khosla mansion there...where certain expectations of his are met, while few are brutally shattered. A twist, as he is harassed by a bully Khurana. In time of need the family sticks together. With a few more friends and acquaintances help all matters are sorted and everyone lives happily ever after :o)
Short...Sweet...and Simple....Good plot....But not handled well
From every angle that I tried to see it from...I couldn’t find the Comedy essence in it...it was missing big-time :o(
I must have laffed out loud more while watching DOR than this Comedy - Khosla ka Ghosla..
Dor, on the other hand, is a wonderful movie....
For all who haven’t watched it still.....go on and watch it....its worth a one time watch. Some might find it slow, but it will leave a good impression if u watch it from Start till the End.....
I wont give out the plot of it.....u will come to know within minutes after movie takes off :o)
