Make or Break

Is the glass half full or half empty ?

Can you clap with one hand ?

Why is grass greener on the other side ?

Its all a game of perception. While some see the brighter side of things, some see the darker one.

I sincerely believe that we don’t gain much from seeing the darker side of things. I don’t understand the concept destruction when with the same effort you can direct your energies towards construction.
Just to clarify - I am not say that we get saddled with old things, but I am talking about making change for the better. And sometimes constructing new things is an Indirect way of letting go.

My parents hate to throw things away, just like most of my friends’ parents did. It took me years to understand that it was not because they don’t want to get something new, but because those things reminded them of those days when they were building their world. But then we should know when to let go. Coz if it’s too late, those things grows on us. And they often had more detrimental effect.

Just recently I changed the things that sit on my dining table, and the new look gave me a new beginning, a new perception and most importantly a smile. Earlier there were a lot of things there, but now there is nothing on it. For a day or two I felt odd, but now I like it and wonder I didn’t do the change before. So basically - the change was for the better.

People talk about world peace, but if they don’t change their thinking to be positive & constructive how will there be any peace in their mind, let alone the world

Lets think good, think positive, think about making things not breaking them....And together we will be making a brighter place worth living in.
