Each second counts

Earlier in the day I asked a colleague for something.....and she promptly said -'Wait for 15secs'.....
A normal conversation you would think, but I gave her the most absurd response -
'15secs.....it will take a sec for the world to end....and you want me the wait for 15....don't know if we will be there or not to live that moment'

This thought actually originated from an extract I read earlier in the day in which a reference was given to one incident from the Epic Tale of Mahabharata.
One day when a beggar approached the eldest of the Pandava brothers seeking help, he was told to come to the palace 2 days later.
There was a lesson to be learnt from that incident...I missed it until I read the actual message - The Pandava had conquered death
How???
'Cause he knew that he would be alive after 2 days when the beggar would visit him to get the donation.

In the first instance it sounds weird, but its soo true...
We put-off our meetings for later, postpone our tasks for something else.....and ofter forget all about it.
Live in the moment, savour the present, rejoice the things we do, celebrate our achievements...coz even the little things count.

Its rightly said -
Its so simple to be happy, but so difficult to be simple..
Live every moment, coz time lost wll never come back
