Isn't Everything ????

Well I spent an entire evening watching the movie, and I must admit I saw it for the first time, all in a single stretch.....
But i looked at the movie differently from normal today. Though I already knew what was going to happen, but it all looked so different today. And to top it all I absolutely hated the ending...after spending 3hr52mins, I wanted an ending.
With a person like Scarlett O'Hara as the leading lady in the movie, the movie should have had a definite ending. Exactly what her next move was, would she or wouldnt she be with Rhett Butler...I would like to believe she was, as he was the only person who could possibly tame her.

But never the less the movie was good. Much better than some of the box office hits of today.
I have always admired Clark Gable..A fine actor. He had a style of his own. Rather he created style that many actors tried to copy, but failed. I must thank my mum who introduced me to him (i mean his movies). There was a point in time when I compared all my guy friends to him. Only who could match up to his standard was good enuff...hahahahaha...

Another thing that I picked up in the movie today was - determination. Scarelett was so determined to gain the love of Ashley, that she stopped at nothing. Made the most of every opurtunity to weave her world around him. At the cost of her dignity sometimes.
And Melanie, she was just so level headed and cool about everything. Inspite of knowing exactly what was happening, she stood by Scarelett at all occasions. She too was a determined lady. But unlike Scarelett, she was always within her limits, keeping her dignity intact.

An absolute classic.
I could watch it over and over again, in hope of it having an ending the next time....
Its a must watch.
