Today's world compromises of people who can be categorised into clear 2 sections – the Rich and the Poor.
My perception to these 2 categories is –
Rich are actually Poor,
While the Poor are actually rich.
I know, not many people would agree with my thinking, but I still stand-by by my opinion.
The Rich inherit / build their huge empires with sweat and toil, but in-turn end up compromising the togetherness they have with their near and dear ones. They slog for long hours even after the empire is built, 'cos they then aspire for more…and more…and more….there is no end to it. I think Greed takes us over if one doesn't stop in time to not cross the Laxman Rekha (boundary line). Once you are Rich you feel like the king of the world and don't grudge paying for all your needs…eventually you end up paying to get joy/happiness/laughter/love too….so I feel , the Rich people are so poor that all these basic human feeling are paid for and don't come naturally to them.
The poor's mans struggle eventually becomes his life but he does find comforting times by his friends and family back home. Since he spends time in struggle he makes a sincere effort in spending time with his near and dear ones and recharges himself for the next struggle and end up actually building up such strong bonds that all the wealth of joy/happiness/laughter/love showers upon him. Though his life is full of cribbing but he doesn't have to spend/waste money on buying the basic amenities required for surviving.
Just to clarify - I don't mean to disregard the efforts made by the Rich, but I wonder how many Rich people can actually draw the line between the Need and the Greed. It is this Greed which makes a Rich - Poor…..And I am referring to that group of Rich people
There are people who are Rich and happy, but am sure that at some stage they have not let the Greed overpower their Need :o)
The Rich eventually bases everything upon the monitory wealth he has built. He gets all he wants, he buys all he need, he eat all he desires and live a life of his fantasies…..all with the – 'Paise ka Zor'
The Poor accumulated his monitory wealth to buy himself a short vacation where he and his needs are bound by his ability to have. He compromises his needs and desires to make the best his available resource, yet he lives a life of his fantasies…..all with the – 'Paise ki Ehmiyat'.
Though the Poor will strive to take the best from his bounds, he feels more content at the end as he knows his hard work…his sacrifice…is well paid-off. While the Rich often tend to do most to boast and spend so much time in showing-off than actually enjoying the moment.
What I would do to be Rich….But deep in my heart I am content at being the Common Poor man, the Aam Aadmi
I want to live a good quality life rather than a rollercoaster ride
I choose Paise ki Ehmiyat over Paise ka Zor
